New Location, More Entertainment and Special DJ



The highly anticipated 5th Annual Pink Party will kick-off the Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride weekend. Attendees will flood Downtown Long Beach's East Village Arts District in a sea of pink as guests are encouraged to dress the part. Hosted by famed drag performer Jewels Long Beach, the Pink Party will transform the outdoor venue with pink lights and festive dcor.



DJs will be spinning high-energy dance music and the Long Beach Drag Diva contest will feature seven performers dancing and lip synching for more than $500 in cash and prizes. An outdoor bar will serve beer, wine and cocktails.



A portion of the proceeds from the Pink Party will benefit the Long Beach Gay & Lesbian Centers Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment (MYTE) program.



The 5th Annual Pink Party is Friday, May 18 from 7p.m. to midnight at the East Village Arts District (1st Street & Linden Avenue) in Long Beach.
