Quentin Tarantino’s legendary follow up to his acclaimed feature film debut "Reservoir Dogs," "Pulp Fiction" cemented Tarantino’s place as the cinematic voice of his generation. Winner of the 1994 Palm d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, Pulp Fiction made stars out of Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman, and resurrected John Travolta from B-movie exile and made him one of the defining stars of the 90′s. A portrait of the seedy Los Angeles mob element, told out of order and with doses of humor side-by-side with candid depictions of violence, Pulp Fiction was unlike anything audiences had ever seen in a mainstream American film. The film put Miramax Films on the map, and started a phenomenon of independent “Tarantinoesque” films often finding major box office business. Recipient of seven Academy Award nominations, and winner for Best Screenplay, Pulp Fiction also stars Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Ving Rhames, Eric Stoltz, Rosanna Arquette, and Christopher Walken.
