For handicap drop-off, the best area will be in front of the auditorium near Cerritos and 7th or in the teacher's parking lot adjacent to the auditorium on Cerritos. Long Beach Rising is currently recruiting volunteers to conduct direct outreach to Central Long Beach neighborhoods for the 2016 People’s State of the City.
As a volunteer, individuals will have the opportunity to meet new people and connect with other Long Beach residents; learn how to do direct outreach in the community; earn time credits through the Long Beach Time Exchange*; and connect with community organizations as part of one of the largest community-driven events in Long Beach.
