Satrangi Pride - Canceled

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Satrang will no longer be participating in this year's Long Beach Pride Parade. We apologize for any inconvenience to those of you who were interested but had yet to confirm with us. We hope you still enjoy Pride and the Parade! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's that time Satrangis! We are soo excited to be marching in Long Beach Pride alongside our community partner APAIT! Historically, Long Beach Pride has prioritized LGBTQIA+ people of color and those across the gender identity spectrum while ensuring financial accessibility for participants. As Satrang holds inclusion and accessibility as core values, we are thrilled to throw our support behind a Pride celebration focused on supporting and uplifting marginalized communities. The theme this year is Solidarity through Pride --and we intend to bring our fullest Desi Satrangi Pride! We're inviting you all to bring your fullest LGBTQIA+ Desi pride this year--and feel free to bring your loved ones! Invite your friends, partners, colleagues, massis, deedas, nanis, papas, and mamas -- Everyone that supports you is welcome. We're planning to rep our Desi pride by wearing Desi clothes in the parade and we encourage you all to do the same. If you want to bring chachkis, dhols, bassris, all the better :) *If you are interested in marching with us, WE NEED YOUR NAMES BY TUESDAY, MAY 17th, 11:59 PM. If we do not have your name on our list by then, we cannot assure that you will be allowed to march with us, per Parade regulations.* **PLEASE email president@satrang.org to get on the list!**
