October Broadway on Broadway: Jacket/Hoodie Drive and Fundraiser

Come celebrate HALLOW-WEENIE with us at our monthly #BROADWAYONBROADWAY ! ***JACKET/HOODIE DRIVE & FUNDRAISER! Bring your extra warm outter wear for those in need!*** EVERY 2nd Saturday of the month at the Brit Bar in Long Beach, CA! Come join us for an afternoon of musicals, fun and fundraising as this month the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence raise funds, jackets and hoodies to support Unity Long Beach with Angelus Fellowship! Unity has a clothing bank on the 4th Saturday of every month. There are no means tests for people, and everyone in need is welcome. They also provide sack lunches, hygiene kits, new underwear, socks, as well as women's sanitary supplies. At the beginning of the school year, they have backpacks with school supplies. Currently, Unity is working with a local non-profit that provides people with assistance in getting their documents, like SSI cards, birth certificates, and California IDs. This is an invaluable service as many of their clients have lost these documents which are critical in gaining access to the many governmental and NGO programs that assist low or no income people. Please join the Sisters along Unity Long Beach with Angelus Fellowship as we help this organization raise money and warm clothes for those in need as we approach this Fall/ Winter Season.
