The Original Park Pantry *

Cute, old-school diner
Diner food is pretty hard to get wrong, but Park Pantry, a great Long Beach gay tradition, does one menu item exceptionally wellpancakes!

"It smells great when you walk in! The food was fattening and I looked like Janet Jackson in Poetic Justice when I left. "

    A favorite breakfast cafe
I like the food here. Park Pantry has the best pancakes and the quality of the food is very consistent but menu is not pompous. Think of this like a Denny’s with a little more class. View to the park makes it comfortable for a early morning brunch with family and friends. It is gay-friendly (only).

    Over Rated but Gay Friendly
The restraint itself is nothing special, sort of like a down graded French Market. The food is average, and so are the people. If not for the gay crowd mixed in with the blue hairs, I would probably skip this place all together. This is not however a gay establishment. They are gay friendly. The waitresses put on a "girlfriend" attitude for bigger tips if you look gay but is just a bit phony. I wish they would come out already.

    park view eatery
the food her is very good, you may consider it an upscale coffee shop, agreat place to socialize with neighborhood folk, you can go ther for a sunrise breakfeast,or a sunset dinner, best part of this place it is a two minute walk to the ocean to se either the sunrise or sunset located across from bixby park ,locals call it cherry park, because of it's location. try not to leave without some of their fresh baked goodies!
