This place is not bad, but I have to knock them for their location. It’s in one of the dirtiest parts of downtown, busses stop right in front of the window, Wal-Mart shoppers galore and people always asking for money. Nowhere to park if you don’t want your car broken into.
It's odd since they are trying to be a nice upscale Bistro, in a downscale strip mall.

Frenchy's Bistro is the place to go for that special meal. Small and intimate--don't let the strip mall type setting keep you away. Excellently prepared food, both new and traditional French fare. Local Long Beach Sand Dabs (the real thing) when available are superb. Not inexpensive, but worth every dollar if you're looking for a superb dining experience.
